pencil and watercolour sketches in a A4 book at Elvetham Heath Reserve. They are the same bird standing on the same spot with its head turning left and right and back.

Basingstoke canal
A watercolour sketch of my local Basingstoke canal. The weather changed rapidly from blue sky to overcast in seconds.
Yellow roses
Oil on 12”x12” canvas board. I started in my garden as Plein air and finished it indoor with a photo.
Sydney Harbour
Another fine day. Walked from hotel to Circulate Quay through Hyde Park and Royal Botanic Garden. A quick sketch at the Mrs Macquaries Point of the Opera House and the Bridge.
Echo Point
On the way to Sydney today we detoured to the Blue Mountains. Very lucky with the weather, cloudless blue sky. We can see layers of mountain ranges. Two quick sketches in my little sketchbook.
Narooma Harbour
Have a good drive from Mallacoota to Narooma arriving early afternoon. Managed to do two quick sketches in my little sketchbook.
Great Ocean Road
Two of The Twelve Apostles of Port Campbell of the Great Ocean Road of Australia.
The sketch started in a cloudy early afternoon then went on to drizzling to hours downpour. Anyway we count ourselves lucky.
Hartley Mauditt
My Friday group has started the outdoor painting this season. Today we went to St Leonard’s Church in Hartley Mauditt. We are very lucky with the weather. The church was build in 11th century. It locates next to a lily pound. I image how lovely it would be in a few weeks time when the flowers blossom. I did a quick watercolour sketch of the church across the pound then moved on to the nearby cottage.
Corfe Castle
My daughter took me to the Corfe Castle Village as a Mother Day present. We had a lovely coastal walk from Studland to Swanage on Saturday. I did some sketches on Sunday while my daughter had a 20-mile run.
Lavender Fields, Alton, Hampshire
Another good outdoor sketching day. Is there anything better than playing with colours in a hot sunny day in the field.
