I love Portchester Castle, a place I used to go in my youth. My niece was christened in the church within its walls, so a place I remember fondly. Predating Portsmouth by about 1000 years, it must have been very atmospheric standing alone in the marshes for all that time

It was a lovely morning. Foggy over Isle of Wright. I just wish I could be courageous enough to do a loose watercolour. May be one day. I am just a beginner.
