South France

Just come back from a two-week holiday in South France Port Ventres.  I have done some quick sketches using pencil on a A5 stitched sketchbook, except the two of Giverny were drawn with pen.  I find sketching help me observe more carefully and distill to the only essence I want to capture at the time without too much background noise as photography does.  Of course photography has its merits.  Here are some images from my sketchbook.
